Games at practice, 2007-08 season

New England Bill Koch Festival, Gunstock NH, March 1-2, 2008

CSU Sprints, January 13, 2008

The Eastern Mass Bill Koch Youth Ski Club offers cross-country skiing for youths ages 7-13 in the Boston area.  We hold on-snow practices at Weston Ski Track, located near the intersection of Rte 128 and the Mass Pike.  The club introduces young skiers to the joys of cross-country skiing through our program of coaching with a low skier-coach ratio and instruction methods developed for young skiers.  The club has both racing and non-racing components.  Cross-country skiing is a low-impact sport and is great cross-training for runners, soccer players, and other young athletes!  No prior XC skiing experience is necessary.

Thanks for a great 2007-2008 season!

Check back in September, 2008 for 2008-09 registration info and preliminary schedule!

SMS and GMVS Summer XC Ski Camps

Green Mountain Valley School (GMVS camp info) and Stratton Mountain School (SMS camp info) each run high-quality summer youth XC camps.  Skiers from our club have attended both and have had a great time.  In our experience, the SMS camp is more appropriate for younger skiers, the GMVS camp is more appropriate for older/more competitive skiers (GMVS does more roller skiing).  Feel free to ask Coaches Brams or McEwen if you have questions.
