·        Color Coding

No shading: Regular team practices (on snow if snow is available, dry-land/roller skiing otherwise)

Other team activities

Team races against or activities with other BK teams.  We will be scheduling three or four races with other clubs.  All team members who feel they are ready are encouraged to race.  Two or three races total to be scheduled – dates will be posted after NENSA posts the Eastern Cup race series dates.  Some Saturday practice times might change because of currently unscheduled races; more info will be posted when race schedules are finalized.

·        Abbreviations:  PHP = Prospect Hill Park, Waltham; WST = Weston ski track, Newton (781-891-6575); GBF = Great Brook Farm, Carlisle (978-369-7486); WV = Waterville Valley XC, NH

·        We also practice Wednesday evenings from first snow through February 27 (except not Dec. 26), at Weston Ski Track, 6:30-7:30pm. Wednesday night practices are open to all skiers except Lollipops.

·        More events will be added, including XC lessons for parents during one or more Saturday practices and club biathlon during a Saturday practice.

 

Important Notes

·        The practice locations above are subject to change depending on snow conditions.  Please check the updates page the day before practice!

·        The practices start on-snow at the indicated times – please arrive in time to be there for our start-of-practice meeting.

·        A parent must be present to assist skiers ages 8 and under.
